DaySpring (in)spired Deals

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time with family as we had lunch at the in-laws' house and dinner at my parents' later. Such a grand time!

My husband is a baker. I've said that recently and he says, "Not any more!" but I've helped him realize that though he's not working as a baker right this moment, it's still part of who he is. He first started working as a baker when he was 15 years old, for a man who taught him the chemistry of baking (this man was a pharmacist before he owned a bakery). It's only been a little over a year that Bill hasn't worked as a baker now, having done so for about 20 years. He's still a baker, even if that's not his job.

So he baked some yummy pies and potato rolls this Thanksgiving, and is looking forward to doing more during December and for Christmas. I can't wait to serve them up on the new Love Came Down Home Decor themed Christmas items from DaySpring's (in)courage! I was sent these products in exchange for promotion on my blog, but of course my opinions are my own and always honest! These are gorgeous and they perfectly match my decor as well as the Christmas traditional theme colors.

The giving platter and drinking glasses will be perfect for setting out milk and cookies for Santa! The kids don't always do that, but have mentioned it already this year. In the meantime, we'll use them all season!

I also received a gorgeous table-top devotional. This is going to be fantastic for us, a great way to keep Christ as the focus of the season and not just "part" of the goings on. I can't wait to start the devotional with the kids on Saturday! It's so beautiful that we've set it up as our entertainment center decoration focal point.

Christian Home Decor from DaySpring is a great company, very family focused, and I was thrilled to also find a very nice tree ornament in my package as well. This will go near the top of the tree, and we'll talk this season about what it means that "Love Came Down" because since God is love, and God came down as the man Jesus Christ and humbled himself to die for all peoples, to pay the price so that we can spend eternity with our Lord, Love truly did come down. This Christmas, our home will be a celebration of God's love in all forms, especially that of our Savior born in a stable so many years ago.

Thank you Lord!
